About Harris Health System
Harris Health System is a fully integrated healthcare system that cares for all residents of Harris County, Texas. We are the first accredited healthcare institution in Harris County to be designated by the National Committee for Quality Assurance as a Patient-Centered Medical Home, and are one of the largest systems in the country to achieve the quality standard. Our system includes community health centers, same-day clinics, three multi-specialty clinic locations, a dental center, mobile health units and two full-service hospitals.

Karina
Karina is 7 years old and is in the 2nd grade. Karina loves theater, dance and playing tennis. Her favorite way to pass the time and relax is to read books. Her favorite books include Have You Filled a Bucket Today, Junie B. Jones and The Magic Treehouse.
I am so excited to be apart of the second chapter of Loving Library. When Anaik asked me to help lead this chapter, I knew it would be the perfect way to make me feel better about what is going on in the world right now and to give back at the same time. Reading has brought much comfort to me and my family during these tough times and I hope to share that comfort to other people in need.
