Meet the Ambassadors…

Devan

Deven

Deven is a 14-year-old freshman at Westlake High School. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and researching the stock market. He loves to spend time with friends and family and enjoys traveling. His favorite book is Prey, by Michael Crichton and his favorite genre to read is Science Fiction.

When I started reading my first chapter book in 3rd grade, I entered an exciting new world. I want to be a part of the Loving Library because I can help kids experience this same feeling.

Yuvraj

Yuvraj

Yuvraj is 10 years old and currently in the 5th grade. He loves playing golf, building legos and especially reading. He likes different types of books but his favorites are: adventure, fantasy, graphic novels, science fiction and Indian mythology. The first time someone read a book to him was when he was a baby. Reading provided quality time with his family and has loved books ever since.

I am participating in the Loving Library because I believe that everybody should be able to experience reading, especially people who can’t afford books, can’t read because of disability, people who need to get away on an adventure through books and people in hospitals. I want them to experience motivation and happiness which is what I feel every time I read books.
